Panama’s Luis David Manouche Jazz Ensamble celebrates the launch of its new website, luisdavidmje.com, by reinventing a carnival classic: “La reina roja” (“The Red Queen”), better known as “Pesca’o” (“Fish”). For a couple of years now, the group has been adapting iconic Panamanian songs to the gypsy jazz genre, resulting in meticulously crafted and beautifully polished acoustic melodies.
