Set during the 1998-2002 Argentinean economic crisis, the film follows the misadventures of a group of neighbors who try to recover the savings they lost to a swindling lawyer and bank manager. The Odyssey of the Naive was chosen as the Toronto Film Festival’s special presentation and it is already being considered for other international awards such as the Oscars (United States) and the Goya Awards (Spain).
