Sinfín

Martín Caparrós

Well-known Latin American writers do not generally write futuristic fiction, which is why Sinfín, the latest work by Argentinean author Martín Caparrós, is such a striking departure. The book also stands out for the quality of the storytelling, of course. In a remarkable dystopic narrative set in 2070, Caparrós offers us a hypothetical look back at history, where religions, corporations, global powers, technology, and other agents bump heads and jostle for position as humanity seems destined to teeter on the edge of catastrophe without going completely over.
