Prisma 2019 arrived

Close to fifteen contemporary dance companies from Brazil, France, Panama, Italy, Spain, the United States, Canada, Germany, Israel, Hungary, and China will take part in Panama’s 2019 Prisma International Contemporary Dance Festival, an annual offering of performances and workshops, many of them free, for dancers and children living in precarious conditions. 

The festival is scheduled to take place Thursday, October 3 through Sunday, October 13 at locations including the Biomuseo along the Amador Causeway, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Theater, the Anita Villalaz Theater, and the Teatro Ateneo in the Ciudad del Saber. Free shows will also take place in the Panama Metro, the Instituto Nacional, and other venues.
