Panama Festival of Performing Arts (FAE 19)
The ninth Panama Festival of Performing Arts will be held March 14 to 20.
Lovers of theater and contemporary dance: mark your calendars. The 2019 Panama International Festival of Performing Arts is just around the corner. This year’s magnum culture fest will take place in the Panamanian capital from March 14 to 20.
Theater performances will include: Como si pasara un tren and Christiane (Argentina); Aquellos dos (Brazil); Camargo (Colombia); Me llamo Suleimán (Spain); and Algo sobre Ricardo (Uruguay). Contemporary dance will be represented by the French troupe Resodancer Company, which will perform the pieces Ambush and Nacreous.
As usual, Panama will be well represented by playwright Javier Stanziola’s Cristo Quijote tratado; Proyecto Actinio’s dance theater show Veinticuatro siete; and Teatro Carilimpia’s children’s theater montage Wayra. The performing arts festival will also offer workshops, master classes, and conversations.
